The Way
“The Way” is a creative, flexible program for 6th, 7th and 8th grade PSR students providing classroom experience on Sunday mornings or Tuesday afternoons after school plus a choice of Workshops and Service Opportunities.
1. Core Curriculum (20 hours)
The Loyola Press “Finding God” curriculum in a format featuring key speakers, videos and discussion groups by grade level.
Two sessions available: Sundays 10:00-11:15am (Mary’s Room) or Tuesdays 3:30-4:15pm (Atrium). See calendar below.
2. Five Community Service Events
Monthly opportunities to get together and participate in different service projects in the parish including: Thanksgiving Food Boxes, G.I.F.T. Program, Toy Collection, # Lunch Bag, Soup Supper and others.
3. Five Workshops
Presentations to learn and participate in the life and traditions of the Church, scheduled at different times to add flexibility to our program. Some examples are: the Rosary, Stations of the Cross, Jesse Tree, church tour, the Bible and more.
